This so speaks to me and how I was brought up.
It is very sad to see that this is missing from just about every politician in government today, and it starts at home, long before a person even thinks about politics. These are the values that parents should be passing on to their offspring, however our governments with their agenda’s make it very difficult to for a parent to instill these values in their children as they are working just to survive and children are brought up by strangers.
The day when a politician, who is successful in life takes office for free and really serves the people, I will celebrate.
Freedom Shaper would like to instill these values back in our future leaders, leaders that will help Humanity to thrive in this World of abundance.
Jesus himself reframed traditional leadership as radical servanthood. He taught that instead of using power to “lord it over” others, true greatness comes from humility and meeting the needs of the people. The ultimate leader leads by example, putting others first and sacrificing personal ambition for the sake of the many.
Jesus laid out several key principles for great leadership found in scripture: [1]
- Servanthood: In Matthew 20:25-28, Jesus contrasts worldly rulers who exercise authority with his followers, stating that whoever wants to be great must be a servant, and whoever wants to be first must be a slave of all.
- Humility: In Luke 22:26, he instructs that the greatest among a group should act like the youngest, and the ruler should act like the one who serves.
- Mission-Driven Focus: Great leaders must know their purpose and stay focused on it, rather than seeking approval from crowds or being sidetracked by personal glory.
- Leading by Example: As seen in Philippians 2:3, leaders are called to act without selfish ambition and to value others above themselves.
