Whether right or wrong, everything you do is born out of a set of beliefs. These beliefs are ingrained though peers, schooling and parental controls.

Self-care on the other hand is going deep within, to expose all of the subconscious behavioral and thought patterns that are sabotaging your growth and ultimately your future.
Self-care is not all roses and wonderful feelings. Self-care is looking in the mirror and asking yourself these very difficult questions:
- What’s the burdon that I am holding on to?
- What habits and false ideals no longer serve me in my path to freedom?
- What do I need to let go of in order to allow myself to move forward and achieve my goals?
- What self-limiting beliefs do I still believe are true in my life?
No matter what we try or do, We can never flourish or experience any positive and sustainable change in our live’s as long as we keep dragging the entire weight of our negative beliefs with us. Self-care is the mental process and willingness of learning how to identify these self-sabotaging patterns that weigh us down and then letting them go by changing our outlook and correcting the words that we speak.
Once we let go of what’s no longer serving us in a positive way, we will allow room for growth that will help us get that which we really want.
Self-care is realizing that you are your greatest obstacle.
That’s one of the greatest lessons we have to learn, no matter how long it takes. In the bible it says that we have to be born again, and that takes courage in the face of those that instilled the beliefs in the first place.
- Your beliefs,
- your ideals,
- your habits,
- the way you speak to and about yourself,
- the depth of your self-acceptance,
- your subconscious behavioral and thought patterns…
All these things, if not evaluated and upgraded, will sabotage your progress and destiny through this experience we call life.
As a leader, it is most important that you have resolved all of the above beliefs in your own life as you are going to come across people that still have these ingrained beliefs and are not performing to their own best interests and you will need to help those in need reclaim their lives.
