Good day everyone and much Love to you all.
Dearest Family, today I would like to talk about character — that quiet, sacred part of us that God builds when no one else is looking.
To make it more memorable… here’s a little story:
A Farmer, a Donkey, and a Well

One day a farmer’s old donkey fell into a deep, dry well (a dry well is of no use to anyone and dangerous).
The donkey cried, brayed, kicked — it was a real mess.
The farmer thought, “I can’t pull him out… he’s to old and he would get hurt… I’ll just bury him.”
So the farmer began to shovel dirt into the well.
But every time the dirt landed on the donkey’s back… the donkey did something surprising:
He shook it off… and stepped on it.
More dirt. Shake it off. Step up. More dirt. Shake it off. Step up.
Hour after hour — until finally the donkey stepped out of the well, head held high… covered in dirt, but saved.
💡 The lesson? What was meant to bury him… lifted him.
And that’s character.
- Not perfection.
- Not never falling.
- Not acting spiritual in front of others.
But learning to:
Shake off what was meant to break you… and step up into who God is shaping you to be.
📖 Joseph did this.
Betrayed by his brothers… falsely accused… thrown in prison.
Every handful of “dirt” that hit him could have buried him.
But Joseph shook it off.
He stepped up.
And God raised him to a place he never could’ve imagined.
📖 David did this.
Running from Saul… hiding in caves… misunderstood and hunted.
But every trial built a king.
God wasn’t breaking him — He was shaping him.
📖 And Jesus… the greatest example…
He took the worst the world could throw at Him —
hatred, lies, betrayal, a cross.
And He turned it into salvation.
That’s the power of character formed by God.
💜 Family… as we approach our callings… our stewardship… our humanitarian work…
God is building in us a character that wealth cannot buy and trials cannot destroy.
- Sometimes life throws dirt.
- Sometimes it feels unfair.
- Sometimes people misunderstand us.
But heaven is whispering:
“Shake it off… and step up.
I am building something in you that will lift others.”
Much Love ♥️ 🐸
