Rising Higher

One of the hardest lessons you’ll ever learn is this:

“The higher you rise… the fewer people can breathe your air.

Not everyone leaves your life because you did something wrong.
Some people leave because you stopped being who they needed you to be.
The moment you refuse to gossip…
Refuse to complain…
Refuse to stay offended…
Refuse to join the daily pity party…
You become difficult to be around for people who live there.

  • Misery has always loved company.
  • Peace doesn’t.
  • You don’t need to announce your growth.
  • You don’t need to defend your boundaries.
  • You don’t need to convince negative people to become positive.
  • Just keep growing.
  • Just keep smiling.
  • Just keep building.
  • Just keep becoming the person God created you to be.
  • The people who are threatened by your light were never your assignment.
  • The people who are inspired by it are.
  • Stop shrinking so insecure people feel comfortable.
  • You weren’t created to fit into dark rooms.
  • You were created to turn the lights on.
  • The right people won’t be intimidated by your peace. They’ll be attracted to it.”
